Elliott is a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturer of power transmission products, related assemblies and components for jet engine thrust reverser actuation systems, flap & slat actuation,  ignition leads, seat adjustment drive cables, cockpit pedal adjustment cables, passenger door drives and cargo door drives, including flexible shaft assemblies, push-pull controls, gear boxes, ball screw and ball nut assemblies, universal joints, conduit assemblies, hydraulic hose assemblies and related products.

Agricultural

The ability to design and produce flexible drive and control shaft products is what has enabled Elliott Manufacturing to address advanced applications where precision performance, demanding conditions and high-operational reliability requirements must be met.  Agriculture requires it all.

Commercial

With over 3500 different flexible shaft and flexible coupling assemblies, commercial applications for Elliott’s products are abundant. The list includes: food, meat & poultry processing; concrete vibrating shafts & heads; flexible steering for utility vehicles, tractors, & golf carts; remote electric starters; duct & boiler cleaning; drywall sanding; automotive safety equipment; tool extensions; elevators; solar panel production, truck tank lid actuation; printing & packaging; remote thermostat controls; spas; animal sheering; and recreational equipment applications.

Lawn & Garden

Elliott manufacturers a “patented” nylon liner design that complements our range of flexible drive shaft designs to serve the needs of every string trimmer design, throughout the world.  2007 production exceeded over 4,500 miles of string trimmer flex shafting. 

Marine

Commercial and military ships have relied on Elliott (previously Stow) Remote Valve Operating Systems since 1935.

Remote operations whether for a more convenient location or less hazardous environment, Elliott’s ROG Systems are found on ships and at ship yards around the world.

Medical

Micro-precision surgical instruments rely on Elliott flexible shafts.  Produced in a controlled environment that conforms to customer requirements and the U.S. Federal Drug Administration’s GMP standards.

Highly specialized rotating surgical instruments  help reduce procedure time while enabling a less invasive, faster, recovery patient experience.

Nuclear

Nuclear system components were specifically designed for the power generation industry by Elliott’s engineers.  The variety of systems and types available in both flexible shafts (our predecessor company, Stow Manufacturing, invented flexible shafting) and rigid rod configurations, can solve every conceivable remote valve operation requirement.  The speed and ease of installation provides significant instillation & maintenance economies--most require no service whatsoever.
