Our history in these systems parallels the growth of nuclear power.  Elliott’s intimate knowledge of the industry coupled with a proud product development heritage that dates back nearly 100 years offers global customers many significant advantages.

Nuclear system components were specifically designed for the power generation industry by Elliott’s engineers.  The variety of systems and types available in both flexible shafts (our predecessor company, Stow Manufacturing, invented flexible shafting) and rigid rod configurations, can solve every conceivable remote valve operation requirement.  The speed and ease of installation provides significant instillation & maintenance economies--most require no service whatsoever.

Torque transmission systems can be assembled as rigid rod, flexible shaft or a combination of the two.  Elliott’s remotely operated valve control systems and  components deliver design flexibility in the location of control systems for accessibility, safety and convenience due to their compactness and high operating efficiencies.

Shield wall or floor penetrations can be completed by using either the cast-in-place (new construction) or grout-in-place (existing) construction methods.   A comprehensive array of system components enables powered or manual, single or dual operating systems.
